Auto-Renewal Discount
When you select the auto-renewal option at checkout, you’ll receive 10% off your first purchase. This discount cannot be combined with any other promotional codes or offers.
How Auto-Renewal Works
By selecting auto-renewal and completing your purchase, you authorize CertaPet to automatically charge your payment method for annual renewal, subject to the following conditions:
Payment Schedule
- You will be charged once per year on the anniversary of your letter approval date
- The renewal price will be charged to the payment method you provided at checkout (plus applicable taxes and fees)
Renewal Evaluation Required
- Auto-renewal applies to payment only—it does not automatically issue a new letter
- You must complete a consultation with a licensed mental health professional (LMHP) every year.
- The LMHP will independently evaluate whether you qualify for a letter based on your current needs
If You’re Not Approved
- If the licensed mental health professional determines you do not qualify for a letter during your evaluation, you will not be charged for auto renewal.
Renewal Notifications
CertaPet will send you at least one email reminder before your renewal date. We’ll also post a confirmation to your CertaPet account each time your subscription renews and payment is processed.
Price Changes
CertaPet may adjust the renewal price for future terms. If we do, we’ll notify you in advance of the change.
Cancellation
You can cancel your auto-renewal subscription at any time before your next renewal date by contacting Customer Service at askcertapet.com. If you cancel before your renewal date, you will not be charged for the upcoming year
