Dr. Athena Angela Gaffud is a licensed veterinarian and freelance medical writer from Isabela, Philippines. She used to be a researcher, a technical sales personnel, and a mixed practitioner before she became a vetpreneur. 

Due to the pandemic and the demands of being a mother, Dr. Gaffud launched her start-up company Doc Athena Vet Services, which provides virtual veterinary services, including but not limited to online consultation and medical writing. She is passionate about educating pet parents and animal farmers about responsible pet ownership and good animal husbandry practices. 

She lives in a small town in Northern Philippines with her family surrounded by pets and backyard farm animals.
